Chart Types
Four ways to draw price. Switch any time from the chart-type menu.
The same data, rendered four different ways depending on what you’re looking for.
| Type | Shows | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Candles | Open, high, low, close as a candle body + wicks | Reading structure, wicks and momentum — the default for most analysis |
| Bars | OHLC as an open/close-ticked bar | A cleaner look when candle bodies get noisy |
| Area | Close price as a filled area | Seeing the overall shape of the trend at a glance |
| Line | Close price as a single line | The cleanest view — good for higher-timeframe context and presentations |
Switching
Open the chart-type menu in the chart toolbar and pick a style — the chart re-renders instantly without reloading data. Your drawings and tools stay exactly where they are.
Tip: Candles for execution, Line for context. Many traders flip to Line on the weekly/daily to judge the trend, then back to Candles to time the entry.
