Plan a trade on the chart with long and short position tools.
The position tools draw a trade plan directly on price — entry, target and stop — and show the risk/reward of the setup before you commit.
- Long position — set entry, a take-profit above and a stop below. The tool shades the profit and risk zones and reports the reward-to-risk ratio.
- Short position — the mirror image: target below, stop above.
How to read it
- The green zone is your profit target distance; the red zone is your risk.
- The R:R figure tells you how many units of reward you’re risking one unit to get. Most traders want at least 1.5–2R.
- Drag the entry, target or stop handles to reshape the plan; numbers update live.
Tip: Size the stop by structure (beyond a swing or zone), then let the target fall where it may. If the resulting R:R is poor, it’s often a sign the entry is late.
