Trade Journal

Turn a completed trade into specific coaching.

The AI Trade Journal reviews the chart together with your notes, outcome and P&L, then grades the decision process and gives one clear lesson to carry into the next trade.

What this tool is for

Use it after a trade closes—or after you decide to skip a setup—to separate outcome from execution quality. A winning trade can still contain poor risk management, while a stopped trade can still be well planned and correctly executed.

What to enter

How to read the result

OutputWhat it means
Overall gradeAn A–F summary of the process visible from the chart and the information you supplied.
Entry timingWhether the entry was early, late or well aligned with structure.
Risk managementHow clearly risk, stop placement and exposure were controlled.
Trade managementHow the position was handled after entry, including exits and adjustments.
PsychologySigns of discipline, hesitation, chasing, revenge trading or plan deviation in your notes.
Setup qualityThe strength and clarity of the original trade idea.
Key lesson & coachingThe highest-priority improvement and a practical message for the next trade.

Practical workflow

  1. Write the notes while the trade is fresh and be specific about what you knew at the time.
  2. Run the journal on the same symbol and timeframe used for the decision.
  3. Focus on the lowest category score and the key lesson, not only the overall grade.
  4. Turn the lesson into one measurable rule for the next trade.
  5. Review repeated lessons in your saved analysis history to find process patterns.
Better input, better coaching: “Bought breakout, lost” gives the AI little to evaluate. Include the planned entry, stop, target, reason, what changed and whether you followed the plan.
Analysis history: saved AI analyses can also be revisited from your profile.
The grade is a coaching aid: it can only assess the chart and details you provide. It is not a verified performance record or a replacement for your own trading statistics.
